Job Description

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and delivery of merchandise samples to multiple partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the procurement and delivery of merchandise samples to multiple partners, including Public Relations, Site Marketing, and Synergy.
  • Assume responsibility and accuracy of the sample tracker to ensure all partners have prioritized product for photo.
  • Develop and implement effective partnerships with key partners to drive revenue and optimize product sell-through.
  • Work with Merchandise Manager to ensure seasonal product opportunities are heightened to avoid inventory liability.
  • Assist with messaging collaboration for Owned & Operated activations and provide support for key milestone meetings.
  • Assist the Marketing Integration team to drive the best impression of our brands through marketing.
  • Provide support for various merchandising team projects as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in merchandising, product development, retail, visual merchandising, or a related field.
  • Passion for retail and product development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate with all levels across the organization.
  • Strong teamwork skills with ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal partners and handle situations with confidence and tact.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projects.
  • High level of attention to detail with proactive follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude with ability to be responsive to feedback and pivot based on changing organization priorities.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative skills in the workplace.
  • Can-do attitude with willingness to learn new skills and processes.

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of SAP.
