Job Summary:

As a key member of the Business Development team at Randon Aviation, the Business Development Manager will focus on driving student enrollment and promoting brand awareness. You will represent the company at community events, develop partnerships with high schools, community organizations, and strategic B2B partners, and generate leads for our flight programs. You will guide prospective students through the enrollment process, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements. Success in this role requires a positive attitude, excellent time management, teamwork, and a strong commitment to both students and the organization.


Core Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Outreach:

  • Develop a scalable pipeline of new student inquiries through continuous outreach, including phone, email, in-person, and online channels. Goals and expectations are set in collaboration with the Department Manager.
  • Actively generate student leads through sources such as partnerships with high schools, community organizations, events, and B2B partnerships.
  • Participate in and represent the company at local high school events, community gatherings, partner campaigns, and other relevant platforms to increase brand visibility.

Enrollment Management:

  • Provide accurate and detailed information to potential students and their families about programs, eligibility requirements, and the admissions process.
  • Guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to student inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins, etc.), providing clear and helpful guidance.
  • Keep records of all interactions and enrollment information using the company’s CRM and related systems.

Sales Funnel & Reporting:

  • Track the sales funnel and maintain accurate records of student inquiries, follow-ups, and enrollment statuses.
  • Meet with the Department Manager weekly to review the sales pipeline, assess performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure that all sales-related reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high schools, community organizations, and business partners.
  • Encourage positive student experiences by offering support throughout the enrollment process, fostering trust and confidence in the school’s programs.


Knowledge & Skills Required:

Customer Service Orientation:

  • Respond promptly to service requests and assist students and families with professionalism.
  • Communicates clearly, courteously, and tactfully in all interactions.

Decision-Making & Organization:

  • Exhibits strong decision-making abilities and an organized, results-driven approach.
  • Demonstrates motivation and the ability to perform independently without extensive supervision.
  • Displays high attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of information provided to students and in reports.

Time Management & Accountability:

  • Manages time efficiently to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Consistently meets enrollment and lead generation goals, while maintaining accountability for all responsibilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years prior industry-related business development experience.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, particularly in educational institutions or aviation-related industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and student enrollment processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnerships and generating new business.
