Business Development Manager

About This PositionThe Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and sustainability of our organization through strategic partnerships. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for social impact, strong business acumen, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop plans to maximize and expand current program contracts in partnership with the Contracts and Grants Manager.
- Explore new services and programs aligned with the organization's mission and responsive to community needs.
- Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other nonprofits.
- Nurture relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction with existing and prospective business partners.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring clear terms and expectations for both parties.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to assess impact and inform future strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or a related field, preferably within the education or nonprofit sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of achieving goals and driving impact.
- Knowledge of child development, early childhood education, or related fields.
