They are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Sr SRE) to join the team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in implementing and operating Microservices on Kubernetes cloud-based platforms, collaborating closely with Cloud Technical Development and DevOps teams.
  • Conduct Load Tests and Chaos Tests to validate the scalability and reliability of microservices.
  • Establish Observability for Microservices and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Develop and execute Disaster Recovery plans in partnership with Development and DevOps teams.
  • Analyze and mitigate production risks related to resource constraints (e.g., node groups, CPU, memory, HPA scheduling, JVM pre-warming).
  • Script and automate processes using languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Define and maintain KPIs (SLA/SLO/SLI) for cloud microservices in collaboration with development teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design documents, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards such as ISO27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • Lead incident response efforts to promptly troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud operations, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Application Security, and Data Protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, both independently and within a team.
  • Experience developing technical documentation and implementing compliance requirements.

  • Experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
