Responsibilities

Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot PC and networking issues

Install hardware and software to end users’ equipment while following company policies and procedures

Install, configure, and assist in the troubleshooting of networking hubs, switches, wireless network, and other communication systems to include but not limited to VOIP telephone and videoconferencing systems

Organize and maintain files servers and folder structures in accordance with company policies and change files permissions when necessary

Monitor the day-to-day operation of a backup/recovery system to minimize down time and loss of data in the event of data loss

Upgrade hardware and software including servers, printers, desktop, and laptop workstations as necessary

Train new hires on proper use of computer equipment, software, and corporate MIS policies

Respond to and resolve user support tickets and ensure issues have been resolved

Create purchase requests, convert to purchase orders, and manage invoicing for the department

Purchase equipment for the site including hardware, software, and other IT equipment

Troubleshoot, repair, and replace the departments camera equipment

Setup devices including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, lab equipment, printers, etc.

Track and maintain PC inventory while ensuring assigned equipment matches the inventory

Support user needs related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, VOIP phones and the like for both in office and for remote office needs

Provide on call services as needed

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology preferred, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working with computer hardware, software, windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office 365 applications. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Windows 10, active directory, server setup and maintenance, networking, and copier/printer/scanner setups. Experience with Meraki, Linux, Cisco, VM Ware, scripting, VOIP, SAP knowledge, customer service experience, is highly preferred
