LHH is seeking a Customer Service Representative with a mechanical/troubleshooting background for a client in the Duluth area. The primary responsibility of this role is to address technical issues and provide guidance over the phone to operators encountering problems with gaming cabinets and peripherals.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from operators experiencing technical difficulties pertaining to gaming software.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the acceptance of money, operation malfunctions, and other technical glitches.
- Walk operators through routine tasks and procedures to ensure smooth operation of gaming equipment.
- Provide guidance on unplugging and reconnecting motherboards as necessary.
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and computer building skills to assist operators effectively.
- Document and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience building computers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to patiently guide individuals through technical procedures over the phone.
- Knowledge of gaming software and equipment is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and procedures.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing high-quality support.
