Project Manager

The Project Manager position at Engineered Facades is a key role that reports directly to the Executive Vice President. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the planning, management, customer satisfaction, and financial success of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Provide overall project coordination, planning, and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Comply with quality standards for product procurement and delivery to maintain high-quality results.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain schedule and deliver projects on time, ensuring minimal delays and disruptions.
  • Documentation Management: Send, manage, and maintain project management documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Resource Allocation: Monitor resource allocation and manage labor, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
  • Change Order Management: Prepare and manage change orders, submittals, RFIs, and contracts to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Project Close-Out: Manage punch-list completion and project close-out, including warranties and other documents, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Site Visits: Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Professional Development: Continuously educate yourself to develop personally and build a knowledge of various materials and systems installed by the company.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend company meetings as necessary to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have relevant experience working in the construction industry for at least five years. Key skills for this position include:

  • Construction Knowledge: Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication skills and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to read architectural plans and specifications.
  • Additional Skills: CPM scheduling experience and estimating experience beneficial. Ability to travel on occasion per project requirements.
