YOUR ROLE


As a Sales and College Admissions Consultant, you will be a key member of an engaging, close-knit team dedicated to helping families navigate the college admissions process and reduce college costs. Your role combines expert knowledge of college admissions with strong sales acumen to build and maintain client relationships, generate leads, and drive business growth. Your passion for education and ability to connect with families will be crucial in delivering high-touch tailored solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Sales and Business Development:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and interact with new prospects, generate leads, build relationships, and convert prospects into clients.
  • Sales Strategy: Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas through effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Client Interaction: Schedule appointments, conduct sales consultations and presentations, and manage the sales cycle to close new business. Maintain positive client interactions and relationships to ensure satisfaction and referrals.


College Admissions Consulting:

  • Student Support: Partner with families of students in grades 8-12 and community college transfer students, helping younger students discover their interests and maximize their high school experiences. Provide assistance with college search and application processes for juniors, seniors, and transfer students.
  • Proprietary Processes: Learn and implement March Consulting’s proprietary methods for creating standout college applications.
  • Documentation and Research: Prepare documents and correspondence with extreme attention to detail, maintain handbooks and guides, and conduct research. Engage in calls with colleagues and campus visits to stay updated on admissions processes.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED


  • Experience: 3+ years of professional success in an undergraduate admissions office, school college counseling office, teaching, and/or sales. 
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with sales management software and CRMs.
  • Attributes: Dynamic, detail-oriented, collaborative, and calm under pressure. Strong work ethic, ability to juggle multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the college admissions landscape and sales process. Commitment to ethical practices in college admission and personal integrity.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, proven success rate in exceeding sales quotas, and ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
