Job Description:
A company in the energy sector is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team and support the implementation of the company's Procure to Pay (P2P) Program. This multifaceted role combines elements of buyer, sourcing agent, contracting specialist, and procurement project management analyst. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of purchasing best practices, ethics, and skills, while collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities include:
Data classification and entry, supporting change management initiatives, assisting with procurement software implementation, processing procurement requests (purchasing, sourcing, and contracts) through to completion, providing post-execution transaction support, and performing other project-specific tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working in the procurement, supply chain, finance, contracts and/or compliance space.
- Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Strong MS Excel experience.
- Experience in Salesforce, Arriba, Zycus or other P2P/P2S/CLM system.
- Experience in basic contract principles and negotiation processes.
