Overview:

As the Sales Account Executive, your primary focus is aimed at closing strategic business while maintaining sustained transactional sales growth with a robust pipeline of new opportunities. Collaborating with the entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions is critical. The Account Manager role is an executive sales position responsible for the sale of products and solutions to support the operational needs of our clients and prospects within SLEDs largest organizations and departments.


Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Strong knowledge of State and local government as well as the Education community with relationships and the ability to engage at the senior leadership levels with the ability to negotiation and navigate government contract vehicles
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and execute on small and large-scale enterprise-wide business opportunities
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to participate effectively in cross-functional teams and work well in a matrixed management environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills – Dynamic presenter with the ability to convey information to all levels including CXO levels
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage and report on simultaneous partner engagements
  • Understanding the assigned accounts’ extended business model and create offerings and solutions to meet corporate goals
  • Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts


Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr + uncapped commission structure

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
