Senior Treasury Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a great company in Parsippany, NJ to hire a Senior Treasury Manager. The Responsibilities are as followed:


  • Perform the monthly accounting close for US Treasury activities, including:
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP
  • Ensure all accounts are correctly and accurately stated before closing of the Ledger
  • Review and approve Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations prepared by Treasury support employees in the Shared Services Center in Poland
  • Maintain Budget vs Actual tracking for global Treasury budgets
  • Manage Purchase Order / Invoice process for US Treasury activities, ensuring that all invoices are received and timely submitted for approval and payment
  • Prepare deliverables required for quarterly / annual financial statement reporting purposes as it relates to US Treasury activities
  • Assist Treasury support employees in the Shared Services Center by guiding in the resolution of accounting breaks and approving required journal entries
  • Work closely with the Controllers function and the global Treasury Accounting team to provide expertise and guidance on Treasury accounting matters adhering to current standards, guidance, and best practice
  • Respond to all changes in accounting standards and guidelines as relates to US Treasury transactions and activities
  • Assist global Treasury accounting team
  • Assist in various Treasury accounting projects, as needed


Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting


Experience

A minimum of 5/10 years or relevant accounting experience in banking or corporate Treasury environment or auditing experience in a financial service environment

  • Excellent computer literacy, a deep knowledge of ERP or other financial systems
  • Previous experience with Treasury Management Systems is a plus
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and Treasury related accounting standards, including experience with hedge accounting

  • Strong communicator with the ability to summarize and explain important points across a large set of data
  • A proven team player able to quickly integrate into an established team and work effectively across a broad set of stakeholders in multiple geographies
  • Be flexible and enthusiastic, with a “can-do” attitude to work
  • Strong sense of integrity and an ability to develop and hold an independent view vis-a-vis other stakeholders
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with an ability to work successfully on own initiative
