Job Posting: Commercial Account Executive (Commercial Business Development Manager)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Join our client’s growing sales team as a Commercial Account Executive and drive business development in a dynamic and resilient industry. Key Responsibilities

  1. Pipeline Development: Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the market, leveraging in-depth knowledge of services and competition.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, such as agents, brokers, and insurance adjusters.
  3. Targeted Outreach: Focus on high-potential relationships and field prospecting during optimal hours (Mon-Fri, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.).
  4. Educational Leadership: Deliver training programs, CE courses, and co-marketing events to drive engagement and revenue.
  5. Strategic Sales Execution: Support company strategies by identifying and closing sales opportunities within the insurance and restoration sectors.
  6. Industry Engagement: Participate in industry events (2+ per month) and join professional associations to generate leads.
  7. CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and marketing activities within CRM software.
  8. Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, golf outings, and other events, driving excitement and engagement.
  9. Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions to sharpen skills and stay ahead in the industry.



Weekly Sales Activity Goals

  • Achieve 50+ client/prospect connections weekly via meetings, calls, and social media.
  • Conduct at least three scheduled in-office meetings weekly.
  • Document all activities in the CRM system (e.g., Luxor).



Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in outside sales (restoration industry experience targeting agents and adjusters preferred).
  • Availability: Willingness to attend 2–4 networking events monthly.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software.
  • Travel: Valid driver’s license required.
