· Working in an 800-person automotive manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for the overall production supervision, and for planning production volumes and schedules.


· You will be responsible for delivering products with the shortest lead time from order to shipment.


· Evaluate sales forecasts, new business and competitor information, and determine the production business plan.


· Work with shop supervisors to ensure that capital equipment, people, and materials will be available to achieve company goals.


· Evaluate component design changes and make adjustments in production plans. Balance production demand with production capacity.


· Working with a safety-first approach, develop ideas for continuous improvement, cost savings, and quality improvements.


· Develop processes which coordinate production planning and control with procurement, inventory, logistics.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 years of production related experience in an automotive company preferred.
  • BS degree preferred.
  • Strong skills in interpersonal relations, inclusivity, and ability to inspire success
  • Competency in manufacturing processes
  • Should have Project Management experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, and work with technical materials like testing data, inspection data, statistics data, and industrial standards
  • Demonstrated experience working with customers and suppliers
