Accounting

  • Review and collect on client past due invoices
  • Account receivables

  • Utilize 3rd party vendor management system to perform contractor rate audits

Human Resources

Health Insurance

  • Stay informed on insurance plan options to contractors
  • Maintain/update employee medical insurance forms is Salesforce
  • Submit paperwork/enroll before the 90th day of employment
  • Respond to employee questions regarding insurance programs and services
  • Assist with open enrollment and new hire benefit information
  • Annual ACA compliance reporting
  • Respond to Health Insurance Marketplace insurance notices

Employment Verifications

  • Prepare and respond to verifications of employment
  • Provide dates of employment and wages for current contractors
  • Complete all verifications by end of week

New Hire Reporting/Onboarding Assistance

  • Handles all new employee reporting through the Attorney General Web Portal
  • Ensures every new employee has satisfied general compliance paperwork

Worker’s Comp/Texas Mutual/TWC

  • Responsible for Worker’s comp annual audit
  • Handles all paperwork and filing related to any employee claims
  • Keep internal staff are aware of processes and procedures
  • Renew annual worker’s comp policy
  • Manage WOTC Applications, Denials, and Approvals
  • Ensure all TWC Claims/Hearings/Appeals are reviewed and answered timely


General Support Functions

  • Daily communication with Katy Accounting office
  • Maintain accounting and human resource records
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Responsible for the handling of all Certificates of Insurance (COI’s)
  • Liaise with other offices/customers/vendors
  • Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential
  • Prioritize various work functions for maximum efficiency
  • Assist others both internal and external in solving work related issues
  • Assist Accounting department with any requested reporting or clerical tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintain office supplies and ordering client gifts/treats.
