SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable and Pricing Specialist plays a crucial role in the company’s pricing and invoicing process providing in-depth system support to maintain accurate information related to AOT’s credit and pricing functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of pricing / invoicing, conducting thorough process and quality assurance analysis and serving as a system expert for our key software applications. This position will partner closely with Customer Service, Pricing and Credit departments.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Credit Functions

  • Prepare and process invoices to customers daily across various business units
  • Process stand-alone credit memos as required by Company
  • Email regular accounts receivable statements to customers and sales team
  • Assist with automation of E-commerce invoices and ensure accuracy of the companies automated IT processes
  • Serve as a backup to monitor the automation of credit invoices for Tire Claims
  • Respond to Customers inquiries on invoices/credits and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to credit and collection activities
  • Assist with related special projects as required
  • Thoroughly conduct both credit/pricing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
  • Work with both Credit/Pricing teams to improve and update company SOP’s
  • Participate in wider company meetings ensuring consistency and communication for both the Credit and Pricing Teams
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management


Pricing Functions

  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to assist in the maintenance of the company’s pricing models
  • Ensure data integrity within Pricing System and ERP system by performing routine checks and monitoring to maintain accurate pricing information
  • Monitor pricing details at the customer and SKU level to identify areas for improvement
  • Support in the development and maintenance of pricelists
  • Communicate relevant pricing updates to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain organization system and correctly store files in designated drives/ files
  • Record and manage team-related updates on a shared OneNote
  • Audit and standardize current and historical price books and price files for consistency and accuracy
  • Partner with team members to enhance and streamline system automations across 3 IT Systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management in support of Credit and Pricing Departments
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems, processes, and tools as needed
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university (preferred), or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer skills required: (Office365 with proficiency in Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.
