Technical Support Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to determine their technical needs and explain issues clearly.
- Conduct on-site research and studies to gather necessary information for technical solutions.
- Manage field activities and oversee the implementation of engineering designs or technical solutions.
- Resolve malfunctions or crises promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Install new systems and technology, ensuring they meet client specifications and are fully operational.
- Inspect and test materials and machinery for safety and reliability.
- Ensure proper maintenance of on-site equipment to extend its lifespan and reliability.
- Utilize strong knowledge of laptop, desktop, and other hardware to perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Provide first-level diagnoses and identify issues, offering initial support to attempt incident resolution.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident resolution and take remote control of systems if necessary for effective troubleshooting.
