Technical Assistance Service Engineer

Advantage Technical is seeking a skilled Technical Assistance Service Engineer to join our team at an Automotive OEM in Plano, Texas. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert diagnostic and troubleshooting services to dealership technicians, ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer 30-40 inbound calls daily from various component groups, providing timely and effective support to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Tier II personnel, product engineers, and Field Technical Specialists to escalate cases and ensure prompt resolution of product quality concerns.
  • Assist in shadowing and mentoring new hire Tier I personnel, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' dealership experience with a strong background in diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • ASE Master Certification and/or OEM Master Certification preferred.
