What We Need

Brady Corporation is seeking a Custom Quote Specialist who will provides internal and external customers with the best possible service in relation to generating timely and accurate quotations. Quotations are focused on highly customized labels for product and wire identification in aerospace and electronics industries, which entails use of variant configurations and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, sales, vendors, operational partners, and peers. Responsibilities are specialized within the Customer Support & Operations Function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responding to inquiries from internal and external customers for pricing and prepare & deliver timely and accurate quotations using SAP, variant configuration, and cost models.
  • Ensuring Brady quotations are fully compliant relevant to SOX, ISO, AS9100, and Internal Traffic & Arms Regulations.
  • Responsible for cost, discount, and profit calculation as well as unit of measure conversion.
  • Contributing to process improvements and initiatives to help drive a best-in-class customer experience and to deliver cost savings and process optimization.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Master Data.
  • Performing detailed review of customer drawings & specifications and cross-reference with published technical data sheets and manufacturing capability to determine compliance to requested specifications.
  • Responsible for identification of revision level changes for custom parts and initiation of part creation and engineering changes to keep Brady master data consistent with customer requirements.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years within a professional work environment or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to identify problems and root cause for solutions and sustainable improvement.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
