We are looking for an experienced and results-driven leader to spearhead the development and execution of sales strategies that will drive growth and market expansion for our client's cutting-edge animal monitoring platform. The Sales Lead will leverage proven sales leadership experience and strong analytical skills to cultivate meaningful, customer-centric relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Role Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty
  • To actively manage and lead a sales team, fostering a driven, high-performing culture
  • To manage the negotiation and finalization of key deals, ensuring they align with the company's goals
  • To track, analyze, and report on sales metrics, performance and market trends
  • To identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's presence
  • To work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and commercial teams, to align sales strategies with business goals


Skills you will need:

Essential:

  • A BSc. degree in business agriculture, technology or a related sector
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • A track record of successfully leading a team and achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals
  • The ability to analyze data and monitor sales performance to drive company success
  • The ability to lead a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative team player who can work autonomously to achieve successful business outcomes
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
  • IT proficiency and knowledge of CRM software

Desirable:

  • Experience of Ag Tech, animal health, and/or livestock management
