Job Summary


Baywater is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing administrative support to the Human Resources department and managing payroll processes efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to handle payroll tasks accurately and punctually.


Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Manage HR-related documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Handle general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and the HR department.
  • Address basic employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports related to payroll and HR activities.
  • Assist in audits and compliance checks as needed.



Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or Generalist, preferably with payroll responsibilities .Min 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with HR practices and principles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.(Paycom preferred)
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
