Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand our air and ocean services, driving revenue growth across global markets with a focus on the West Coast.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities, target potential clients, and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure that sales strategies are effectively executed and that client expectations are met.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall growth objectives.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, campaigns, and initiatives that support sales goals.


Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience in sales leadership within the freight forwarding industry, with a strong emphasis on air and ocean freight services.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and leading successful sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of global logistics, international shipping, and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and oversee sales activities.
