Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management, supporting the organization's goals and objectives by delivering HR solutions and initiatives that drive business success. This role involves working closely with various departments to address their HR needs, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand business goals and challenges.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to and may have project ownership of HR-related initiatives.
- Assist employees with questions and interpretation of company policies and procedures.
- Partner with managers to identify talent needs and develop strategies for recruitment, retention, and development.
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Conduct investigations into employee issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
- Ensure HR practices and policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on employment laws and best practices, providing guidance to management on compliance issues.
- Process to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR paperwork (for example, status changes, transfer forms and termination forms).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, FAA, and Risk Management regulations coordinate with Safety Manager.
- Assist with onsite employee injuries.
- Assist recruiting team with job descriptions, comp ranges and sending applicant for pre-employment screenings, as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR role.
- Experience working in manufacturing or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with UKG (HRIS System) is Required.
- Strategic thinker with a business-oriented mindset.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.
- Experience working in manufacturing or similar field.

Physical Demands:
- Work Environment: Office setting
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasions.
- Carrying, Walking, Pushing, Climbing, Reaching.
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in an administrative office setting.
- This role routinely uses standards office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
