Salesforce Business/Quality Analyst

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be a member of the Aperture Digital Transformation Practice, which supports federal government clients. As a part of the Digital Transformation team, you will help clients implement modern IT and automated business solutions ensuring they meet the expected quality standards. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for developing a solid connection between the customers' and developers' operational and business needs. You will be responsible for working with system stakeholders to identify business, functional, and system requirements, conduct system testing, support the development and execution of stakeholder communication plans and system documentation, and serve as a pivotal contributor to the implementation of Salesforce applications.


About The Job

  • Support meetings with system owners and other stakeholders to gather business requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements, accurately translating them into functional and technical requirements for the development team.
  • Work with the development team to continuously refine the documented requirements.
  • Develop detailed test plans, including test objectives, scope, and schedule, in alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Create and manage test cases and scripts based on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure test cases cover all aspects of the software application or system under test.
  • Execute test cases manually or using automated tools, documenting test results and defects clearly and organized.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate fixes and ensure no new issues arise during the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues identified during testing, working closely with developers and other stakeholders.
  • Perform stakeholder engagement and outreach activities.


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Salesforce development environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a structured testing environment
  • Understanding fundamental testing concepts, principles, and techniques, including test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience functioning on an Agile project environment
  • Experience developing “as-is” (current state) and “to-be” (future state) customer journeys
  • Active US Government Security Clearances
