Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior Director of Enterprise Data, Architecture & Integration. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Enterprise Data Management/MDM using Profisee/Informatica or Equivalent. This role requires being onsite 2-3 days/week in their White Plains office. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Enterprise Data, Architecture & Integration to establish and implement enterprise architecture principles along with a cohesive strategy and operating model for enterprise data management and advanced analytics that aligns with the digital transformation objectives of the company. The candidate for this role will have a strong background in data architecture and enterprise integration, with a focus on enabling AI-ready data strategies and solutions to enable the next phase of growth for the company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • In partnership with the Head of Enterprise Applications & ERP Program Mgr, lead the end to end solution strategy for modernizing and standardizing core business processes (Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing) with a focus on creating a scalable, data-driven growth strategy.
  • Successfully transition from disparate legacy ERP systems to a unified global system, ensuring seamless processes, data integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Project Butterfly governance forums as required.
  • Evolve the maturity of the enterprise data foundation, ensuring it supports ongoing Master Data Management (MDM) and aligns with both business and IT processes.
  • Strengthen the Data & Analytics (D&A) program, emphasizing governance, delivery, and the development of AI-ready data strategies and solutions.
  • Oversee data and analytics projects in collaboration with the company Data Council, focusing on building and maintaining a single source of truth through standardized reporting frameworks and robust data sets.
  • Ensure that all key milestones are met across multiple integration points, maintaining focus on scalability and performance for Project Butterfly.
  • Serve as a hands-on technical lead in ongoing data, integration, and architecture workstreams, particularly in the migration from legacy to cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships and streamline/right-size the sourcing model for enterprise data management and analytics.
  • Direct the work of the MDM Manager, Data Engineer, and Data & Analytics Lead, as well as outsourced data engineering partners and consultants.
  • Enterprise architecture must be closely aligned with the organization’s business strategy, goals, and objectives outlined in company’s Corporate Plan, ERP Mission and overarching digital transformation goals.
  • Ensure that every IT initiative supports business outcomes, enabling agility and responsiveness to market changes. Regularly engage with business stakeholders to align IT roadmaps with business priorities.
  • Data is a strategic asset and must be governed to ensure accuracy, consistency, security, and accessibility.
  • Establish robust data governance frameworks, including data stewardship, MDM practices, and data quality management. Implement data standards and policies that ensure data integrity across all systems
  • Architectures must be designed to scale efficiently and adapt to future business needs and technology advancements including M&A and advanced analytics/AI.
  • Design systems with modularity, reusable components, and cloud-native solutions to allow for easy scaling. Embrace microservices architecture to enable flexibility in deploying new features or adapting to changing demands.
  • Systems and applications should be interoperable and capable of seamless integration across the enterprise.
  • Define and implement standard integration protocols and APIs to ensure smooth data exchange between disparate systems, particularly in transitioning from legacy to cloud-based solutions.
  • Security must be embedded in all aspects of enterprise architecture to protect data and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and encryption standards across all platforms. Regularly assess and update systems to comply with industry regulations and protect against emerging threats.
  • Standardization of technology platforms, processes, and data models is essential to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency.
  • Promote the use of standard tools, technologies, and methodologies across the enterprise. Streamline processes and reduce redundant systems by consolidating technology stacks and standardizing workflows.
  • Embrace innovation to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving technology landscape, ensuring that the enterprise remains competitive.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exploration of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Implement a governance framework that balances innovation with risk management.

Required Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of proficiency in defining & implementing enterprise architecture principles and the ability to tailor for mid size companies.
  • Experience with greenfield data strategy, governance and foundational concepts for data architecture and engineering, AI & ML
  • Experience with data integration architecture and engineering in a Buy and Integrate ecosystem
  • Experience in ERP transformations, with a strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Preferred experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, integration strategies, and the latest advancements in AI and analytics.
