Job Summary: The Broker Relations Manager at Blue Zones Health will be instrumental in forging and sustaining strong partnerships with insurance brokers, health plan-employed agents, and other sales channels to broaden the organization's influence and reach. This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to collaborating with various stakeholders, adhering to industry regulations, and fulfilling strategic sales objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with existing insurance brokers and health plan-employed agents to enhance business growth and retention.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all broker-related issues, providing support and resolving queries to ensure a high level of broker satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement broker training programs that include comprehensive information on our products, services, and the latest market developments.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to create tailored communications and promotional materials for brokers.
  • Monitor and analyze broker performance and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of commissions and handle administrative tasks related to broker management.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulatory standards pertaining to broker relations.
  • Lead and staff broker trade shows, including staffing tables and booths
  • Host broker focus groups and advisory boards to obtain feedback on offering and engagement strategies 
  • Participate in industry conferences and workshops to represent Blue Zones Health and identify new business opportunities.
  • Current service area includes Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera and Santa Clara Counties, subject to further expansion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in broker relations, sales, or account management, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven to manage critical relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its regulations is highly advantageous.
