About the Role

Aon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Broker II - Middle Market to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of middle market accounts, including placement and service, as well as ensuring client deliverables are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of middle market accounts, including placement and service
  • Ensure client deliverables are maintained
  • Act as the representative for the local office or region on new business and renewal opportunities
  • Lead by example as a strong sponsor of Aon's Leadership Model
  • Support local colleagues, promote connectivity, collaboration, and cooperation within local office practices
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers that write middle market and upper middle market P&C business
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to assist with growth and development of Associate Brokers or other members of the Middle Market group
  • Present current trends and issues to interested parties internally and externally
  • Drive utilization of all available technology throughout the broking process and client service process
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant insurance P&C business experience
  • Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages
  • Understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites
  • Knowledge of Benchmarking and Loss Analysis
  • Relationships with carriers that write middle market P&C business
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Outstanding Microsoft Suite and presentation skills
  • Property and Casualty Brokers License is required
