The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing and upholding the integrity of our systems, addressing security concerns, and managing tech initiatives. Collaborating closely with fellow engineering team members, this individual will guarantee optimal system performance and capability, while effectively handling any issues that surface.


Responsibilities

  • Guarantee compatibility of all system interfaces to ensure fluid communication among subsystems.
  • Oversee the system’s operational maintenance, including conducting timely updates and upgrades.
  • Manage the delivery and operations of servers, storage, backup, networking, and telecommunications infrastructure, monitoring performance and resolving issues across both on-premises and cloud-hosted resources.
  • Administer group policies, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Exchange O365 MFA, and oversee IT security and Azure administration.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive continuity strategy, encompassing disaster management, business resumption, and prioritization of technology recovery.
  • Design intricate system architectures with detailed hardware and software specifications, interface integrations, and data flow diagrams.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in IT Operations, with a minimum of 3 years at an Administrator level.
  • Proficient in computer systems, storage/backup solutions, network/system administration, and firewalls/scripting.
  • Skilled in working with VMware, virtualization technologies, Windows systems, switches/routers, network protocols, system architecture, and integration.
  • Holds an Associate-level Microsoft or Cisco certification.


Pay range and compensation package

$50-$65/hour
