Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Systems Engineer to join our team at EnDyna. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of preliminary engineering reports (PERs) for community and Tribal drinking water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of PERs for community and Tribal drinking water systems.
  • Provide technical expertise in support of technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, regulatory program implementation oversight activities, and guidance development.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work on conceptual design and cost estimation for water projects.
  • Provide project management support, including subcontractor management and project reporting.
  • Review technical submittals, schedules, and change orders for water projects.
  • Facilitate change management and collaboration with contractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Lead the development of client-ready products.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control of products.
  • Conduct effective research and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering and at least 5 years relevant work experience OR a Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional Engineering License (in progress or desired).
  • Experience with Safe Drinking Water Act and/or Clean Water Act regulatory programs. Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator is preferred.
  • Strong technical design and construction skills.
  • Excellent project execution and management abilities.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Positive work ethic in all situations with coworkers, project managers, and clients.
  • Knowledge of engineering software and tools, such as Bluebeam, CAD, and ArcGIS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally to water and wastewater utilities in the field.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
