National Sales Manager

The position of National Sales Manager (NSM) is responsible for leading a group of Account Development Managers (ADMs) to meet or exceed company goals for profitable revenue growth. The NSM will provide management direction and for the ADMs assigned to his/her team.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Develop, and coach a professional sales team to meet or exceed specific goals for profitable revenue growth
  • Assist Sales Leadership in developing and implementing sales strategies for ADMs
  • Improve the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to decision-makers
  • Work with leadership team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer/market demands
  • Help develop metrics driven reporting/management system in order improve forecasting to help achieve revenue growth
  • Coach ADMs to develop selling skills in improve selling efficiency
  • Make coaching sales calls with ADMs to provide feedback, and to assist with large opportunities
  • Travels as needed to meet customers and help secure new business
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account base
  • Manage sales process through Mediagistic’s tech stack

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree; ideally with emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, business, or related field preferred but not required with comparable experience.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Self starting, strategic thinker who is able to thrive in a creative and independent environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously. Oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Consultative selling
  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
  • Understanding of metrics driven management style
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC industry, internet marketing, and advertising
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM


Supervision/Contacts:


  • Directly reports to the Director of Sales.


Work Environment:


Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.


Physical Demands:


Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.


Travel:


Travel will be required frequently.

Total travel time will be more than 25% of the time.


Work Location:


This position is based full-time at our office in Hidden River Parkway (Fletcher & I-75).
