Our client, a leading Commercial and Residential Remediation provider is seeking a Houston-based Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.


The ideal candidate will have experience calling into the Commercial Real Estate industry: Property Owners, Property Managers, Building Maintenance Engineers, and Commercial Property Adjustors.

Responsibilities

  • Identify partnership opportunities within the Commercial Real Estate industry: Property Owners, Property Managers, Building Maintenance Engineers, and Commercial Property Adjustors.
  • Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company expand
  • Maintain existing business
  • Think critically when planning to ensure project success


Market Research and Analysis

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging

opportunities.

• Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop informed business development

strategies.

• Activity to generate new business accounts including making sales calls and cold calls.


Client Relationship Management

• Identifying prospective customers, following up on sales leads, branding at trade shows and

industry conventions, annual sales plan, and weekly reporting of all determined KPI’s/Metrics.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and

ensuring satisfaction.

• Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to existing clients.


Networking

• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build a strong professional

network.

• Represent the company and actively engage with potential clients, partners, and industry

participants.

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and

prospecting activities.

• Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and

marketing efforts.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 + years' prior industry-related business development experience preferably in the Construction or Commercial Real Estate industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
