Human Resources Manager


Incredible San Antonio Based Oil and Gas Company is adding to the team. The Company offers a fun, casual, and team atmosphere.


This professional is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the human resources department. Duties include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies, setting HR objectives, and managing the company’s employee database and records.

Additionally, liaise with recruitment agencies, advertise job openings, organize and design training sessions, accurately record hours, and manage payroll and employee relations. Have a solid understanding of labor legislation (for compliance), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to make sound decisions.


This is a strategic role – help lead the vision, develop processes, lead process improvements, and more.


Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Develop and maintain employee benefit programs
  • Counsel and advise employees on performance and career development
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration
  • Implement training and development programs for employees and managers
  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to improve retention
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to management
  • Maintain accurate employee records and confidential information
  • Review payroll for accuracy and completeness before processing



Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supervisory role.
  • 4 plus years of experience as an assistant supervisor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism,and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Outgoing personality
