Find Twang s products in grocery, convenience, and liquor stores nationwide or explore our complete line at www.twang.com.POSITION OVERVIEW Human Resources ManagerThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, administration and budgeting of the administrative functions of the organization. The HR Manager oversees employment, recruitment, employee relations, EEO, compensation/benefits, and organizational development. The HR Manager develops and drives creative HR initiatives and activities, and advises the company and its managers in human resources policy and program matters.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitmentOversees the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, preparing job offers and organizing onboardingTraining and DevelopmentOversee the planning and implementation of training programs for staff, and identifying and supervising training needs and initiativesEmployee RelationsFoster employee development, engagement, motivation and retention and act as a liaison between management and employeesCompensation and BenefitsAdminister pay, benefits, and leave and manage compensation and benefits structures; strong knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems such as Paylocity preferredEnsure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with relevant regulationsRespond to payroll related inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, or other payroll issuesManage employee status changes, new hires and terminationsGenerate payroll reports for the finance departmentOversee year-end processing, including ensuring timely W2 distribution and relevant year-end reportingStay updated on payroll legislation and best practices in all states Twang has employeesLead the annual re-evaluation of benefits policies for cost effectivenessImplement and annually update compensation programs; conduct annual salary surveys and develop a salary budgetPolicies, Standards and ComplianceEstablish and maintain department records and reports, recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiencies of the department and the services performed; prepare and maintain an employee handbookPerformance ManagementDevelop and administer an effective performance appraisal system to assess employee productivity at all levels to recommend changes and training that help the organization grow and meet budgetary goalsSafety/Work EnvironmentCreate and maintain an effective and compliant safety program; adhere to OSHA standards for manufacturingStrategic PlanningCollaborate with senior leadership to design and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the organization s long-term goals. This includes workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiativesStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging HR technologies. Apply innovative approaches to HR practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvementQUALIFICATIONSBachelor s degree in Business or related field preferredMinimum of seven years related HR experience, with at least five of these years in a management roleBroad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, and compensation and benefit managementThorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations; experience with state of California regulations preferredDemonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruiting strategiesExceptional personnel management skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-growth environmentMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationProficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power-Point is essentialMust exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with the senior management teamBilingual preferredWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental and a 401K plan.Opportunity to work with a passionate and dynamic team.A chance to make a real impact in a growing company.Twang Partners is an equal-opportunity employer.
