Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join their sales team. This role is pivotal in developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts with the objective of growing our customer base and increasing sales revenue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.


Essential Functions

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.

Manage and grow existing customer accounts by strengthening relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales goals.

Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

Travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within the domestic U.S., with occasional travel to Canada and Mexico.

Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage customer data, and report on sales performance.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery.



Additional Responsibilities

Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the company and its products.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and professional development.


Experience

5+ years of experience in an outside sales role.

Aerospace experience is a plus, but not required.

Experience with CRM systems and sales order processing is a plus.

Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about our products and services.

Intrinsically motivated and goal-oriented.

Strong multitasking skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment and requires significant travel.
