We are seeking a full-time Operations Assistant to manage inventory and procurement. The OA will report directly to the Operations Analyst and coordinate with the Operations Engineering team. This role is crucial for managing our inventory, organizing supplies for manufacturing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and log deliveries upon arrival, adding items to the inventory database
  • Organize and track inventory in designated shelving to support manufacturing.
  • Purchase supplies, complete business account applications, manage tax exemption forms, compare vendor pricing, manage vendor relationship, review invoices, and manage spending.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of quality materials.
  • Occasionally perform inventory pickups, coordinating logistics for safe and efficient transport.
  • Handle the ordering of groceries and other essential office supplies, maintaining well-stocked office and manufacturing areas.
  • Provide support for other procurement and inventory management tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience in inventory management, procurement, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to physically manage inventory, including lifting and moving items.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • High tolerance for constructive conflict, critique,
  • Proficient in using inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in or aptitude for working in HubSpot, AppSheets, Google Sheets, wix, Amazon, Alibaba, EBay, QuickBooks Online, and other business software platforms,
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, handle confidential information with discretion, meet deadlines, and represent the company well to external stakeholders,
  • Good research and organization skills,
  • Track record of taking initiative and adapting to changing work requirements,
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment,
  • Personal experience in cold water therapy is a plus,
  • The successful applicant will have outstanding problem identification & formulation skills, and be a skilled participant in co-creative problem solving.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to undertake inventory pickups.
