About the Role: In this role you will manage compliance across various projects while overseeing a team of 1-2 direct reports with varying responsibilities. Your focus is to provide programmatic oversight and data analysis for compliance with Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goals and statutory requirements. You will lead the planning and organizing of key activities, as well as carry out operational duties across projects.


Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Project Director.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Facilitate and execute monthly reporting of various data points extracted from client’s database, sorted, and presented according to their specifications;
  • Track compliance information regarding MWBE and SDVOB participation and minority/female workforce participation on projects. Ensure that data is accurately reflected in tracking systems and databases;
  • Understand MWBE, ACDBE and LBE compliance classifications, certifications, and designations;
  • Oversee the sourcing of MWBE contractors and businesses;
  • Attend monthly and bi-weekly stakeholder meetings ensuring team records minutes, captures open items, and distributes to team members 3-days after meeting;
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, government officials, community developers and local businesses to ensure R.F. Wilkins Consultants is meeting project deliverables and building a positive brand image;
  • Create and facilitate workshops and working groups for both public and private stakeholders;
  • Build and manage relationships between clients and stakeholders;
  • Ensure all projects are on schedule and completed;
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define the requirements, scope, and objectives of projects;
  • Delegate and manage tasks for internal and external teams;
  • Follow-up and complete compliance documentation;
  • Act as point of contact and communicate project status to clients and stakeholders on a regular interval and as needed;
  • Any other duties that may arise to complete the functions of the position.

  • Comprehensive understanding of MWBE and local compliance best practices;
  • Comprehensive understanding of the MWBE, SDVOB, LBE and D&I markets;
  • Experience leveraging the following systems - B2G, LCP tracker;
  • Understanding of construction/ infrastructure development (experience working on large airport projects);
  • Experience engaging local communities and communicating and reporting to project stakeholders;
  • Experienced manager, having successfully led a project team;
  • A versatile analytical person who gets stuff done;
  • Someone who thrives in fast-paced, changing environments;
  • A strategic producer comfortable optimizing and improving an existing framework but not afraid to start from scratch and build something from the ground up;
  • A master communicator, able to motivate people, align interests, wield influence with colleagues at all levels of the company, and effectively communicate both verbally and through written communications;
  • A force to be reckoned with, using resourcefulness and determination to complete projects and implement processes from start to finish;
  • Must be skilled in MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel).
