Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Empire Architectural Metal & Glass Corp. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for accurately estimating large and small architectural metal and glass projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Conduct comprehensive take-offs and prepare detailed estimates using industry-standard software to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality estimates.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with contractors and team members to follow up on estimates and project details.
  • Project Support: Perform various tasks as assigned by management to support the estimating department.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the metal and glass industry, with demonstrated experience on major NYC architectural metal and glass projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency with estimating software, excellent communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational and time management skills.
