Administrative Assistant

Our client, an LED lighting manufacturing distribution company (sales & dist.), with about $1B company sales is looking to add a motivated Administrative Assistant to the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role will involve handling a variety of tasks, including managing calendars, assisting with basic office operations, and assisting the HR Generalist with various HR Tasks. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with an interest in HR and wanting to kickstart their career.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, and policy development.
- Coordinate employee events and activities, such as team-building exercises and recognition programs.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Assist in the coordination of office maintenance and repairs.
- Provide general administrative support to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
This role requires 4 days on-site in Pine brook, NJ. This is an entry level position and are looking for candidates no more than 3 years of experience.
