Position: Sales and Business Development Assistant
Location: Pine Brook, NJ
Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Sales and Business Development Assistant team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include supporting our sales and business development team, with a focus on expanding our customer base and maximizing revenue. Your day-to-day tasks also will include assisting with lead generation, prospecting potential clients, preparing sales materials, coordinating meetings and events, managing customer inquiries, and providing general administrative support to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CEO in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
- Track sales performance metrics and generate reports for analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5-10 years) in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Knowledge of the food industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
