Due to dazzling growth, we are looking to add a Director of Business Development for our Chicago/Detroit/Milwaukee Midwestern market. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our organization within the Midwest. We have grown, via affiliation, from eight to 100+ supported offices within the past 5 years and our plan is to more than double in the coming three years with the help of this BD leader.


Smile Partners USA is a private equity-backed management services organization that supports 100+ high-end dental offices and 1,200 employees throughout the eastern United States. This position will be a key member of the leadership team and will grow in responsibility as the organization continues to expand. The ideal candidate will execute, along with the CDO, the business development activities of the organization throughout the Midwest.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with dental practice owners, key stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve organizational objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and close potential acquisition opportunities in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
  • Lead negotiations and deal structuring for practice acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, HR, finance, and legal to ensure seamless integration of new practices.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and results.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of successful sales or acquisition experience within the dental industry
  • Relationships with dentists, brokers, and industry leaders within the target market(s)
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
