Qualifications for the Financial Systems Developer:

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise planning systems
  • 5+ years of experience using TM1 or IBM Analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and project management experience
  • High aptitude for complex problem solving and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of planning system architecture, components, and data integration processes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Thorough understanding of financial processes in a corporate environment


Responsibilities for the Financial Systems Developer:

  • Develop, maintain, and support applications to enhance the company’s planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Create and improve financial and merchandise planning models, ensuring thorough testing, validation, and migration across environments.
  • Optimize existing models and resolve system issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Implement data integration processes to ensure timely and accurate data flow between the planning system and other enterprise systems.
  • Monitor and validate daily data loads, addressing issues promptly and providing on-call support as needed.
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces and reporting tools for end users.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring effective use of the planning system.
  • Mentor junior developers on system functionalities and best practices.
