Duties:
A Team Financial Planner is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the organization's objectives. This includes conducting financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to inform decision-making.
- Interact daily on the phone and in person with prospective and existing clients including handling basic inquiries and providing quotes.
- Enter and receive orders for the Financial Advisor.
- Research client and security information through the back-office system.
- Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts.
- Prepare letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients.
- Create and maintain records and files.
- Ensure client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules and regulations.
- Maintain databases and create reports using portfolio software programs.
- Assist Financial Advisors with marketing efforts for seminars and compliance approval for advertising literature.
- Responsible for client meeting preparation (forms, reports, presentations, etc.)
- Supervise and train additional client services staff.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field
- 3-5 years of prior industry experience as a financial planner or as a registered associate in sales support
- Series 7, Series 65/66 registered and / or a professional CFP Designation

Schedule: Monday-Friday fully in office, 8-5

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
