NELCO Worldwide is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to work with the Project Supervisor in taking a project from turnover through construction, close-out and final billing. The Project Manager will ensure that all processes and procedures are being followed to guarantee that the project is delivered safely, on time, and in line with NELCO budget requirements and ultimately to the client’s satisfaction.


Project Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Work collaboratively with PM to determine scope, schedule requirements, and coordinate purchasing and installation
  • Work with project team to establish project plans
  • Follow established ISO policies and procedures
  • Review and establish priorities with PM
  • Establish logs and track submittals, RFI’s, PCO’s, change orders, and purchase and delivery for long lead items
  • Exert a positive effect on the overall success and profitability of projects
  • Work directly with PM for material acquisition
  • Ensure that quality management and control practices are being followed


Project Manager Job Qualifications


  • Knowledge of RF shielding and installation; experience in a commercial and/or medical facilities setting preferred
  • Minimum 7 years’ scheduling experience; Microsoft Project software experience preferred
  • Understanding of contract language and ability to define scopes of work
  • Understanding of RFI, PCO, and change order processes; PO, SOV, complete requisition process, and subcontract negotiation and award process
  • Knowledge of OSHA and general industry safety practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to supervise others
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; project accounting software/Timberline experience a plus
  • Experience with budget process and cost coding; strong analytical skills including forecasting and reporting experience
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; strong problem solving skills
  • Willingness to travel for project meetings and other project requirements
