Our client is a premier Burlington, VT, design/build landscape company focused on high-end residential landscape installation projects.

The Opportunity:

We seek an experienced and highly organized Landscape Construction Project Manager to join a leading residential landscape construction company in the Burlington, VT area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to manage stunning, high-value landscape projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring project alignment with their vision and addressing all questions and concerns professionally.
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including accurate estimates, detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee day-to-day execution of landscape construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and supervise project teams, facilitating clear communication, conflict resolution, and a positive work environment.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve project challenges proactively, minimizing potential delays and ensuring project success.
  • Administrative Duties: Prepare project documentation, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant paperwork with attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in landscape construction project management for residential properties.
  • Expertise in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape architecture, construction management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with landscape design elements and principles.
  • Experience managing projects in the $50k to $500k value range.
