Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Litigation Associate at Schulman Bhattacharya, LLC in Bethesda, Maryland. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks associated with litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting motions, preparing for depositions, and representing clients in court proceedings.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of law
  • Experience in conducting legal research
  • Ability to draft motions
  • Experience in preparing for depositions
  • Comfortable representing clients in court
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in business litigation is a plus
  • Admission to the bar in Maryland and DC. New York and Virginia are a plus.
