The Human Resources Coordinator collaborates closely with senior management in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department, ensuring utmost confidentiality and fostering a positive work environment. This role entails efficient time management, prioritization of tasks, and completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Support various internal and external HR-related initiatives.

- Maintain employee database, generate reports, and assist with data analysis.

- Aid in recruitment efforts for all personnel categories, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and reference/background checks.

- Coordinate employee onboarding processes, including orientations and benefits enrollment.

- Prepare new hire and termination documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.

- Manage HR correspondence and escalate employee concerns to management.

- Assist with benefits administration and mandated training programs.

- Maintain accurate departmental records in HR systems and paper files.

- Support payroll processes under HR management's guidance.

- Ensure compliance with all employment laws at federal, state, and local levels.

- Facilitate various types of leaves of absence and provide guidance to employees.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR, with expertise in recruitment, benefits administration, leaves of absence, payroll, and HR systems (Paylocity preferred).

- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent organizational and conflict resolution abilities.

- Attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office suite and email/calendar systems.

- HRCI or SHRM certification desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, or related field preferred.

Compensation $25.00- $35.00/hr
