PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE

We are looking for a System Support Lead to implement and maintain the telecommunication and data systems. Ideal candidate will coordinate the implementations of IT procedures and policies of the organization as well as perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and backups. You'll be required to assist in network troubleshooting and provide end-user support about their hardware and software problems. The System Support Lead must also implement policies regarding security, network usage, and disaster recovery.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage allocate SAN storage and HBA configuration.
  • Manage, upgrade, and troubleshot ShoreTel VOIP network.
  • Manage all SSL certificates as well as internal and external DNS services for the organization.
  • Used SCCM to manage resources, software distribution, inventory, build software packages, and troubleshoot fail installs.
  • Authore and maintain shell and Perl scripts to automate administration tasks for infrastructure management.
  • Resolve network issues using DHCP, and DNS.
  • Standardize existing LAN to DISA STIG standards.
  • Add new DHCP scope, set forwarder on Cisco.
  • Work with vendor to migrate PACS system to new SAN.
  • Administer a mid-size Citrix XenApp 5.0 and XenApp 6.0 Farm.
  • Troubleshoot issues relate to digital certificates, browsers and other TCP/IP issues.
  • Single point of contact for the Linux team and face customers on a regular basis.
  • Prioritize, align and schedule OS and other infrastructure changes, deployments and upgrades as needed.
  • Configure and optimize multiple Cisco devices including routers, switches, call-managers, and monitoring applications.
  • Monitor systems, applications and file servers for stability and resource utilization; implement, tune and troubleshoot systems and applications.
  • Support various Linux operating systems.
  • Built/Publish virtual applications using Citrix XenApps.
  • Maintain operational availability of network routers and switches.
  • Create operational plan for installation of recommend PC platforms.
  • Mentor associate-level technicians and provide second level support for network and PC support problem resolutions.
  • Start up/Configured/Administered asset management database.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required.
  • 3-5 years experience of workstation packaging, software deployment, image management, and configuration management experience.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • Proven experience with GPO, Firewall, TCP, Linux, VPN, ServiceNow, Help desk, SCCM, LAN, Active Directory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with other operating systems is a plus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools is advantageous.
  • Experience managing workstations using Microsoft Endpoint Manager\Intune\System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a co-managed environment.
  • Experience using Active Directory, Group policy, VMWare vCenter, VMWare Horizon, and Azure AD.
  • Experience using packaging and deployment technologies such as Flexera AdminStudio, Microsoft App-V Sequencer, PowerShell, Application Deployment Toolkit, Microsoft Endpoint Manager Experience using imaging technologies such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, VMWare vCenter, VMWare Horizon, Windows Autopilot and MDT.
  • Experience deploying Windows OS servicing and Office 365 updates using Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience and strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Manager reporting including SQL.
  • Highly responsive and proven professionalism in communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to quickly identify and resolve issues and work with a context of formal and informal process.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong process-oriented individual with experience in ITIL concepts
