The primary function of this Internship role is to support the Executive Administrative Assistant in accomplishing tasks efficiently and with utmost professionalism. Daily direction given by the Executive Administrative Assistant. Reports to the HR Director.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out administrative tasks and a variety of clerical functions as needed

Assist with domestic travel accounts (travel profiles, flights, hotel, car rental, etc.)

Enter data and file documents

Prepare expense reports

Order office supplies

Using Microsoft Outlook, coordinate meetings and appointments

Using Microsoft PowerPoint, update presentation slides

Daily ensure meeting rooms are equipped with needed supplies; restock coffee and beverages as needed; clean work surfaces including white boards and tables

Greet visitors and order food for business meetings

Other duties as needed


REQUIREMENTS

Positive attitude and willingness to help with anything

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Excellent attendance and punctuality

Run errands using your own vehicle; mileage reimbursed per IRS rules

Professionalism and work well with others

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, especially Outlook and PowerPoint, a plus

“US Citizen” status per I.T.A.R., due to government contract requirements

Must successfully complete criminal background check and drug screen test

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position works in a climate-controlled environment most of the time however some work will be done while exposed to the elements while running errands for the company.
