At Redis, you'll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you're building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We're creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

Why would you love this job?

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our global product management team.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in managing the lifecycle of Redis joint product offerings with our strategic cloud partners and champion your product portfolio.

The successful candidate will balance initiative and self-motivation with an ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse teams, internal to Redis Inc., as well as partner and customer teams. You are curious and inquisitive about what makes a product tick, detail-oriented, and disciplined to record what you learn and build in product requirements, documentation, and verbal form to audiences of various skill levels. You enjoy listening to partners and customers and can successfully navigate business-oriented and engineering organizations to achieve your goals.

If you are passionate about helping software developers and operators use cloud-native technology to power modern applications this is the right challenge for you.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the DBaaS (Database-as-a-Service) market and ecosystem, interacting with customers, partners and the customer-facing organization
  • Define and document detailed product requirements in collaboration with architects, R&d and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of features, manage priorities and ensure execution to specifications, and on time in light of Redis strategy
  • Work with the product marketing on go-to-market plans and with the education teams to document product capabilities and train internal and external customers
  • Act as the primary product evangelist within our organization, with our partners and to the greater community

What will you need to have?

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS / B2B / Enterprise or equivalent experience in an Enterprise organization
  • Experience with mission-critical products and operational requirements
  • You're comfortable with code and have some experience writing code
  • Prior experience with databases and database or data management technologies
  • Comfortable with private and public cloud computing and SaaS technologies

Extra great if you have:

  • Previous experience with distributed systems
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (extra points for Redis experience)
  • Previous experience working on products for developers and operators
  • Can navigate cloud-native technology— containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, microservices pattern

We give back to our employees:

  • Our culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work. To support you at work and beyond,
we offer all our US team members fantastic benefits and perks:
  • Competitive salaries and equity grants
  • Unlimited time off to promote a healthy work-life balance
  • H/D/V coverage along with 401K, FSA, and commuter benefits
  • Frequent team celebrations and recreation events
  • Home internet & phone stipend
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Ability to influence a high-performance company on its way to IPO

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $129,792 – $256,476 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate's work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis' total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions.
