You will be tasked with overseeing the coordination of the communication strategy to market chamber events and programs to our membership and the general business community. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the staff in the planning of events throughout the year
  • Prepare email and social media content for regular member communications
  • Coordinate the content scheduling for multiple social media, email, and website platforms
  • Adhere to approved budget, event, and communication guidelines
  • Ensure that all communication campaigns adhere to brand guidelines
  • Attend off-site events as needed
  • Attend relevant committee and staff meetings
  • Contribute innovative ideas during the planning process

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (no weekends)


Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

  • Associate (Required)


Experience:

  • Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations: 1 year (Preferred)
  • This role is open to recent graduates without experience; must be willing to learn on the job
