My retail apparel client is looking to hire a full-time Sales Director. You will be responsible for leading and managing the company's sales operations on a national scale. The role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving sales, growth, building strong customer relationships, and developing high-performance sales teams. The National Sales Director will work closely with the executive team to set sales goals, develop strategies to achieve them, and ensure the company's sales operations are aligned with its overall business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Planning: develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve company sales targets/objectives, analyze market trends, set clear targets and KPIs for the sales team.
  • Team Leadership and Development: recruit, train, and mentor regional territory managers to ensure they achieve their sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Develop and implement customer retention strategies to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Sales Operations Management: oversee the development and execution of sales plans, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objective


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years of Sales experience, with 5 years in senior sales management role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a national sales tram and achieving sales targets
